In the tradition of quality European lime plasters, ROCKCOTE Velvetina is a strong, fine-grained decorative plaster finish with a distinctive velvety appearance. Applied by hand to create bespoke, natural finishes to all projects. Velvetina is designed to produce a durable and hard wearing finish with a serene, natural look. It is particularly useful for finishes where a combination of lightly polished closed, and coarser open areas is sought. As a natural mineral material, Velvetina is a breathable surface finish and can be used on a wide variety of wall surfaces, including modern plasterboard and concrete, as well as traditional building materials with stunning results. All products are completely natural, free of dangerous chemicals and produce no odours or residual off-gassing. They have low embodied energy (energy necessary for the entire product lifecycle) contain no cements and are fully recyclable which means they can be returned to the earth after use. Velvetina's allure works effortlessly in offices, reception areas, large feature walls in restaurants and homes, and bar faces. It is not suitable for shower recesses, benchtops or splashbacks. ROCKCOTE Velvetina is applied by hand to prepared surfaces as a two coat finishing system, delivering a variety smooth low lustre effects, through to very high polished finishes.

A beautiful alternative to painted walls, Otsumigaki ("Otsu" for short), delivers a smooth, evocative aesthetic with a subtle lustre. Formulated in the tradition of lime and clay based Japanese plasters, Otsumigaki is inherently sensuous: its presence in a room enlivens the senses and brings us back in touch with the natural world. Meaning “polished and compressed “in Japanese, the product is applied with a trowel in two tight coats and then polished with a Japanese Trowel and Carnauba Wax. The polishing process compresses the lime and clay creating a soft, smooth, even feel across the surface and a pearly lustre finish. ROCKCOTE Otsumigaki can be used in interior high traffic areas in residential settings such as entrances, stairwells and halls. In contrast with the often dramatic and highly polished appearance of European inspired plasters (such as Venetian Plaster), Otsumigaki offers a dreamier, slightly stony look with a more subtle colour range in its patina. Otsumigaki has a subtle elegance that gives walls life yet allows the surrounding elements in the space to speak for themselves. Create a dreamy feature wall in its natural colour and lightly polished to give warmth, depth and lustre. It can also be left natural for a smooth, natural aesthetic. ROCKCOTE Otsumigaki can be tinted to a wide variety of colours, however it is neither possible nor desirable to achieve an exact colour match due to the uniqueness and variations in a natural mineral product. ROCKCOTE Otsumigaki can be used over traditional natural plasters such as ROCKCOTE Earthen Render Coarse, as well as all common building substrates when prepared with a coat of Resene Construction Systems Resin with grit. It is not suitable for exteriors or wet areas. Features: - Pre-coloured - Selected colours from within Resene The Range Whites & Neutrals. Also bespoke colours to match your requirements are available on request. - Non dusting finish - Natural fire resistant qualities - - Tested & Rated 1A, NZBC interior finishes. - 100% natural, breathable material. - Low maintenance - Bespoke finishes

An earthen-look plaster with a smooth finish, Clay Plaster Decor adds a textural warmth to the interior of any building – from a traditional straw bale home to the most elegant modern building. Its subtle beauty makes Clay Plaster Decor an ideal plaster finish for full interiors and a natural alternative to painted walls. It is also suitable for ceilings. Beautiful and unique effects to suit the project can be created by adding relevant objects during application such as coffee beans; marble or quartz chips; shells; and clean, dry wheat or hemp. While Clay Plaster Decor is most commonly used for smooth and rustic finishes, it is possible to achieve handcrafted bespoke shapes with a geometric, textured appearance or smooth, gentle coutours. This natural clay plaster is non-toxic and free from Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) making it ideal for people who care about the health of their families and the occupants of offices and residential buildings. PFL Surface Conditioner is applied to concrete surfaces sealed with PFL Glaze or PFL Satin sealer to condition or ‘prime’ the surface for re-sealing. This specially formulated acrylic solution has a low solids content for increased penetrants, and a slow drying carrier to maximise reaction time on the surface. Treatment with PFL Surface Conditioner will significantly improve adhesion of the new sealer, prolonging sealer life, and improving sealer performance. Characteristics: Increased penetration and prolonged surface interaction conditions the concrete for re-sealing. Limitations: - Not a sealer – sealer must be applied over PFL Surface Conditioner - Will not repair damaged sealer - Sealer will not adhere to smooth stone surfaces – test areas must be conducted on ground or exposed aggregate to ensure adhesion, particularly on trafficable surfaces. - Does not act as a filler – cracks and defects must be repaired prior to application.

WAREHOUSE has only a resin diamond polished finish. There is no grinding of the surface laitance and no exposure of aggregates. The floor is polished to a high gloss finish following the contours of the concrete.

URBAN is the most traditional diamond polished finish combining cost effectiveness with an excellent random stone exposure. It requires the removal of the 2-3mm of the concrete laitance to reveal the underlying aggregates. The floor is ground flat leaving a random mix of medium stone and fine aggregates that are then polished with resin diamonds.

HIGH STREET is the most recognisable and preferred diamond polished finish. The process requires the removal of 3-5mm of the concrete laitance to reveal the underlying aggregates. The floor is ground flat leaving a mixture of heavy stone and fine aggregates that are then resin diamond polished. The floor is created using well established megafloor processes with internationally recognised and quality assured, equipment, tooling and chemicals.

BEACH HOUSE is a classic salt & pepper diamond polished finish. It requires the removal of 1-2mm of concrete laitance to reveal the underlying fines. A lightly ground floor incorporates the natural contours of the concrete, with the addition of a resin diamond polish. Ideal for newly laid floors where placing can be controlled to achieve a flat surface.

ALFRESCO finishes are only for exterior applications. Penetrating sealers, colour additives and decorative cuts are some of the options you can use to achieve the look you’re after. All exterior applications require penetrating sealers.
