Guidance for specification option:

Twin beads of sealant 6 mm to 8 mm in diameter to base and head track to perimeter junctions with walls, floors, and ceilings and around openings. Use expanding intumescent mastic for all fire rated partitions to head and floor channels below head track and board fillets as required.

For up to 25 mm deflection, use board fillets to allow for a 5–10 mm overlap of vertical boarding against board fillets. Boards fillets should have 2 x 6 mm beads of mastic to the substrate, and 2 x beads of mastic to the head track. Please refer to manufacturer for anything above 25 mm.
