Smoke and fire-resistant ablative coated rock mineral fibre board for floor installations.
Application
Designed for internal use in floor installations as smoke, fire and acoustic insulation. Common uses include:
- Upgrading the compartment capability of the floor to 90 minutes fire integrity and insulation (EI 90) whilst maintaining it's load capability.
- Installation above ornate lathe and plaster ceilings within heritage homes.
- Installation in small units, e.g. as flats above shopping facilities or multi-occupancy building conversions.
In conjunction with other Nullifire products, FB770 is service receiving and can accommodate both combustible and non-combustible services.
Description
FB770 Intudeck is a rock mineral fibre board, coated on one side with a smoke and fire resistant ablative coating. It contains an Optifire® unique traceability identifier, a UV technology activated by exposing the products surface to a UV light source for traceability of the product on-site.
Features and benefits:
- Up to 90 minutes fire resistance (EI 90) – Tested to EN 1365-2 (loaded floors: 1.4 kN/m²), BS 476 Parts 20-22 (non loaded floors) and to EN 1366-3 (service penetrations).
- Simple installation method.
- Ideal where decorative ceilings cannot be disturbed or accessed due to lower floor occupancy.
- 48 dB acoustic performance (within timber joisted floor), 79 dB impact sound performance.
- Optifire® unique traceability identifier.
- No additional support required.
