They can also be used to close off cupboards or shelving. - MATERIAL OPTIONS Western Red Cedar A light, yet stable, timber to ensure a smooth roll every time (can be colour matched – contact us). Slats are a solid 45x20mm for premium security. Stainless steel straps running through the centre of the slats provide security and strength. Supplied fine sanded, ready to lacquer. Please note: due to Western Red Cedar being a natural product, there may be some variation in the colour of the slats. (powder coating not available) Slats are55x18mm for premium security. - LOCKING OPTIONS We supply a pair of socket bolts to be fitted on the inside of the roller door opening – this is the easiest and most economical way to secure the opening, and is generally enough for most situations. If required, we can install a key lock inside the hand rail. However, this is more costly, and will take longer to manufacture. - MAXIMUM SIZES Large spans of up to 3 metres wide can easily be covered, with removable centre mullions available when required for wider openings. - HEADCASE SIZE The headcase is 300x300mm for an opening size up to 1500mm high; 350x350mm over 1500mm high. - INSTALLATION The Sage Commercial Roller Doors are supplied pre-tensioned in an MDF headcase to make installation as simple as possible. Special Features: - THE FACE We use quality melamine from leading New Zealand suppliers for the face of our Invisedge® door range. - THE EDGE The edge tape is melted directly to the edge of the board, eliminating the need for glue and enabling us to manufacture doors with no ugly glue lines. Invisedge® doors are edged on custom built Homag KAL 310 edgebanders to create a superior edge Following latests trends in Europe, we use a 1.2mm thick edge. Sage Doors Invisedge® take advantage of the benefits of MKT Alpha-Tape®PP Zero. Senosan GmbH, an Austrian based, plastic sheeting company has achieved a worldwide recognition for their scratch resistant, high gloss acrylic films. - THE SUBSTRATE The acrylic is pressed onto MDF in European factories on world-leading machinery. We have visited these factories to ensure we can be confident with the quality of the product and the way it is produced. - THE EDGE We use a matching MKT Alpha-Tape PP Excellent Gloss edgetape to create a virtually seamless transition between the face of the panel and the edge. - CLEANING Acrygloss® is easy to clean. With each order we supply a can of VuPlex, a special high gloss surface cleaner. VuPlex removes the static on the surface, making finger prints a thing of the past.
