The Goat is a liquid-applied waterproof and airtight sealant for timber, masonry, metal, and roofs, sealing gaps and junctions to prevent air leakage and water ingress in new build or retrofit project
Product Application – The Goat® Flexible Waterproof Coating
Apply in accordance with manufacturer’s written instructions to form a continuous, seamless and flexible waterproof membrane.
The coating becomes waterproof within approximately 60 seconds of application, providing immediate resistance to water exposure during installation.
Substrate Preparation
Substrates shall be:
Although the product may be applied to damp substrates, surfaces must not have active flowing water at the time of installation.
Defects, cracks or loose areas shall be repaired prior to application.
Application method:
Apply sufficient material to form a continuous, pinhole-free membrane.
Detailing
Particular care shall be taken at:
All detailing areas must be fully coated to maintain waterproof continuity.
Curing and performance
The membrane provides:
Allow full cure before subjecting to heavy traffic or overlay finishes where specified.
The GOAT is a rapid-cure, solvent-free reactive polymer waterproof membrane engineered for roofing, flat roofs, gutters, planters, balconies, and complex building junctions that need fast, reliable waterproofing.
Apply by brush or roller directly onto timber, masonry, concrete, metal, and bitumen surfaces. The GOAT cures through a reactive process — not air-drying — to form a tough, seamless, fully bonded waterproof layer that bridges cracks and remains flexible through temperature cycling. Coverage: approx. 1 gallon per 40–80 sq ft depending on substrate and number of coats.
Suitable for new construction and repair work. No primer required on most substrates. Resistant to ponding water, UV, and root penetration on inverted roof assemblies.
Pairs with Intelligent Membranes airtight and vapor control products for complete building envelope sealing from roof to floor slab.
