Description
Soteria is a high-performance, elastic, crack-bridging encapsulation coating formulated with modified polymers and specialist additives. It is engineered to consolidate, seal, and encapsulate asbestos-containing materials (ACMs) — including roofing sheets, insulation boards, textured coatings, renders, and cementitious substrates — delivering lasting protection without removal.
The solvent-free formula forms a continuous, durable barrier that binds surface fibers, arrests degradation, and withstands long-term external weather exposure. Resistance to chlorides and carbonation makes it suitable for demanding environments.
Coverage and application: Applied by brush or roller at approximately 0.5–1.0 kg/m² per coat (two coats recommended). Always apply to clean, sound, dry surfaces. Primer IM or Supergrip Primer may be required on highly porous substrates.
