A fiber‑reinforced stucco basecoat made from a factory‑prepared mixture of Portland cement, sand, fibers, and proprietary ingredients.
Application
Suitable substrates for stucco base over:
- Concrete.
- Masonry.
- Metal lath.
Lath installation over:
- An appropriate water-resistive barrier (WRB) over continuous sheathing.
- Expanded polystyrene (EPS), in accordance with the Parex Specification and Application Guide. Not for interior use.
Description
PAREX® 202 Armourwall Stucco Base Sanded is a fiber‑reinforced stucco basecoat made from a mixture of Portland cement, sand, fibers, and proprietary ingredients, providing improved moisture resistance and low water absorption.
Features and benefits:
- Composed of Portland cement, synthetic fibers, mineral and organic additives.
- Can be installed at 3/8–1/2 in (9.5–12.7 mm) thickness in a single application.
- Resists hydration and shrinkage cracking when properly cured.
- Easy to mix and apply.
- Offers moisture resistance and low water absorption.
