M-BLOC® Type C Gypsum Board

The panels are used as interior wall and ceiling coverings in residential and commercial buildings, as a tile substrate in limited wet areas, and for exterior soffits or protected corridor sidewalls with indirect exposure to the weather.

M-Bloc® Type C gypsum panels are designed as mold- and moisture-resistant wallboards with enhanced core properties to improve performance in specific fire-rated assemblies. The panels feature a Type C gypsum core encased in mold- and moisture-resistant blue face paper and brown back paper made from 100% recycled material. Independent laboratory testing confirms high mold resistance in accordance with ASTM standards, supporting use in applications where fire performance and moisture control are required. The panels are suitable for use in both interior and select protected exterior applications.
