FIREBLOC® Type C Gypsum Board

The wallboard is used as a covering material for interior walls and ceilings in residential and commercial buildings where fire-rated construction is required, and is fastened directly to wood or metal framing systems.

FIREBLOC® Type C gypsum wallboard is designed for interior wall and ceiling applications that require enhanced performance in specific fire-rated assemblies. The wallboard features a fire-resistant gypsum core with additional properties beyond standard Type X construction, supporting improved fire performance in tested systems. The core is encased in natural-finish face paper made from 100% recycled material and a durable liner paper on the back. Tapered long edges and smooth, square-cut ends support consistent joint treatment and finishing. The product is manufactured without asbestos.
