A Decade Later: Special-Lite Doors Still Have More Life

On the job since 2001 as Superintendent of Buildings & Grounds for the public school system of Baldwinsville, New York, Steve Rosenberger could not recall any significant problems the school had ever had with its Special-Lite Fiberglass Reinforced Polyester doors. The result of a large replacement project in the 1990s, roughly 60 percent of the district’s exterior entrances were hung with Special-Lite SL-17 FRP Doors when Rosenberger came on board, with that percentage growing in the years since through an ongoing replacement program.
