The Lakehouse, Ranton

The distinctive design of this modern, single-storey leisure building is defined by its full-surface cladding with PREFALZ standing seam in the colour P.10 Black with co-ordinating Rainwater Goods. The uniform aluminium cladding gives the building clean architectural lines whilst ensuring maximum resistance to the elements.

The large glass front opens the space outwards and creates a welcoming atmosphere. Inside, the building houses a versatile leisure area: a pool table, table tennis table, fitness equipment, darts, an arcade machine and a small bar make the space a real meeting place. Originally planned as a private “man cave”, the building has evolved into a place where the residents of the small village also come together.
